Description

This is an economy-rated three bedroom, two bath townhome located just 150 yards from the base of Aspen Mountain. Aspen’s world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door, and the grocery store is conveniently just 1 block away. The townhome features a private balcony a full kitchen, a cozy dining and living area, a gas fireplace, upstairs AC, and wireless internet. The updated furnishings and beautiful, built in gas fireplace with double sided glass windows, in the living area, are sure to please but somewhat limited in space. The living room decor has been recently updated but the remaining rooms and bathrooms have not been and are slightly dated.
There is one designated off-street parking space. The master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and a bathroom. The two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom; one bedroom has one double bed and one twin, and the other bedroom has two twins (king). The unit’s nearly unbeatable location, in the Aspen core, allows easy access to Aspen’s entertainment and dining.

Definitely outdated (which we knew!) but was 100% worth it for location and price. We tried to use our fireplace on the last night but it didn’t work. We’d definitely stay here again though. Was walkable to everything!!! We only had to use the bus when we went to snowmass

Really enjoyed seeing Aspen in the Fall. Magnificent colors and town not crowded. The townhome was perfect for us -- a married couple with two adult sons. Clean, well-furnished, and right in the heart of town.

This was the perfect home base for our family as we explored Aspen with our toddler! It’s close to everything we needed, including parks, playgrounds, the grocery store, restaurants, and more. Wifi was great, kitchen had everything we needed, and jour de fete is practically across the street and has the best coffee (and opens early for those like us on the toddler schedule)! The property management company was fantastic - very communicative and quick to respond and answer questions. While not the most up to date, the townhome was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group. We would 100% stay here again next time if available, and if not available, we would absolutely look for other properties in Aspen managed by McCartney Properties.

It all went well, the property management company was helpful and responsive. Aspen is one of the more expensive areas around, so this is a budget property in relative terms. Free washer/dryer in storage area right next door. Great location!

Our stay at the property in Aspen was great. Everyone had plenty of space and the location was unbeatable. Our largest complaint is that the kitchen was missing some non-parishable essentials. Salt, Pepper, Cooking oil, coffee would have made a big difference since we were only staying through a quick weekend

Since the onset of COVID and for other sanitary reasons, we do not leave food items in the condos, as was recommended by VRBO since enhanced cleaning recommendations were issued to prevent the spread of the illness.

Unit is as described. Very easy management to work with.

We had a nice stay at this property. Aspen is a fancy town and there is nothing fancy about this particular property... but we knew that going in and it served as a great place to crash for a 5 day ski trip. Its got everything you need in terms of plates, silverware etc to do some light meals. Its not overly spacious. But we spent almost all of our time on the mountain or out at restaurants so as a place to crash its a great deal. Everything was in working order and clean. Location is a very short walk to the Aspen mountain lift and restaurants are all within a 15 min walk. Management was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the place to anyone who wants a reasonably priced walkable stay in Aspen.

This place is located super close to the lifts and restaurant/shopping area. It was really clean, it’s a bit older and more worn than expected. Had some amazing skiing, thanks for the late checkout and would stay here again! Thanks for a great stay! The location was amazing and the place was super clean. Downstairs bathroom shower head leaked really badly. Otherwise, all was good.

This condo was very nice. The location was right in the heart of town near everything we needed. We did not rent a car and we were able to quickly walk to slopes, ski rentals, breakfast, restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, shopping, bars, etc. The size was cozy and small, but it worked well for my family of six adults. There were plenty of trash bags, dish detergent, soap, toilet paper, etc. The kitchen and furniture were a little dated, but everything was cute and clean. Communication with the management company was excellent. I have only two small cons, neither of which are show stoppers by any means: (1) The washer and dryer were shared by the building, so washing clothes was not as convenient as having these appliances in the unit. (2) There were no heaters in the bathrooms and they were pretty chilly in the early morning and night. Overall this Airbnb was awesome and I not hesitate to stay here again.

This was out first time visiting Aspen and have fallen in love with its charm, beauty and never ending options for fun & adventure. ATE9 was available, perfectly located and very fairly priced. Upon entering, the unit felt a bit dated, but......it was perfect. Great layout for a grown family of five. Equipped with everything that we needed. Very comfortable sitting area. Very very comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Perfectly located in town and convenient to everything ASPEN. McCartney Management made everything easy and truly pleasant, THANK YOU!

Property is pretty worn, but location and beds were perfect, it was very clean. Could use some blankets in the living room. But McCartney was awesome to deal with and will rent from them again. Very accommodating. I give McCartney rentals 5 stars.

“Beds were super comfortable. Location was perfect for a weekend stay in Aspen. Quick responses by the maintenance guy when we had a slow draining sink. Sun comes in really bright in the twin room downstairs (thicker curtains might be worth considering). Our group had a great time and I got a lot of props for picking your place! Thank you!”

Working with McCartney homes was great. Very easy and helpful. Home was within easy walking distance to downtown Aspen. The townhouse itself was clean but a little dated. The beds were very comfortable. It would be very helpful to have a small package of cooking essentials ( salt, pepper, butter, cooking oil) . If only staying for a few nights it is very waist full to buy these from supermarket.Thanks

Townhouse Location is an A. Using McCartney rentals was simple and easy also an A. This townhouse was clean very affordable and met our family, (3 teenagers included) lodging needs for Spring Break 2018. Yes needs updating and it’s far from fancy but if you just need affordable clean and great location this will be your place.

It's an economic unit, but it's very comfortable, well setup, well supplied, and above all, in an excellent location. The 3 bedrooms give us a lot of flexibility. I love its proximity to the City Market, the main grocery store in town. It's only minutes of walk away. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, and we actually bought groceries and cooked nice dinner a couple of times. It's an easy walk to the gondola, the pedestrian malls and shops. All in all, I think it's a very good value in aspen. One caution, the front door has an European lock, be sure to ask how to lock and unlock it.

The management company was first-rate. Tony was a pleasure to work with and met our every need, representing the condo accurately. The condo is situated in a quiet spot on the edge of town, but within very easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. It was just one block from City Market, which was a huge plus to be able to pick up groceries, etc. The condo itself was laid out well, and provided ample room for a party of 6. For what we paid it was a good value. And I guess that's how I would sum it up -- value. Dollars don't go a long way in aspen. This condo was bare bones on luxury. In fact, it needed tons of renovation. Lets start with new paint. Walls were dirty. Carpet was dirty. Furniture was beat and worn, and squeezed into areas that didn't accomodate. The irony here is that the condo would probably sell for more than a million dollars in aspen, but the interior reflected that of a college dormitory. The balcony was quite small too and there was no bbq - a very inexpenive fix that was overlooked by the owners. Overall, the stay was great, but don't expect much out of this condo. I would go back and definitely use the management company again, but I would likely choose a different condo, or certainly a different unit within the complex.

I stayed in 3 bdrm Aspen East condo apt. during March 2010 and was very pleased with the condo. The condo was as depicted from info provided before stay. There was a brief issue with the hot water when first arrived, but the members of McCartney were very helpful and the issue was fixed immediately. They were also very helpful in providing area info and any services needed during our stay. The condo was in great location, walking distance to anything and in typical condition. I would use McCartney again and recommend them to find the right property for someone's needs.
