The Wheeler Opera House

The Wheeler Opera house is a stately 1889 theater that stages arts performances by local and national acts, as well as movies & Aspen festivals, none are to be missed! For 125 years, the story of the Wheeler has been the story of the town. Through boom and bust and boom again, both building and town have proven resiliency and tenacity that have defied the odds.

Aspen Music Festival & School

The Aspen Music Festival and School is the United States’ premier classical music festival, presenting more than 300 musical events during its eight-week summer season in Aspen. The institution draws the world’s top performers, artist-faculty, and more than 630 music students representing the field’s best talent to this Colorado mountain retreat for an unparalleled combination of performances and music education. This event is a favorite amongst all Aspen festivals, and many events are free to attend.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet’s bold vision – top global choreographers, distinctive groundbreaking repertoire, and virtuoso dancers – has fostered a jewel of a dance company in the American West. Theatre Aspen

Winner of the ACRA Non-Profit of the Year, Theatre Aspen features top-flight professional and Broadway artists in a summer repertory season of musicals plays and comedies. Theatre Aspen School also offers camps for kids 5 – 18 June through August. The Hurst Theatre is located in a spectacular setting in the John Denver Sanctuary, and our lobby will be open for ticket sales and snacks all day.

JAS Jazz Aspen Snowmass

Founded in 1991 and entering its 25th season, Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. JAS has grown from a simple 3-day event in Aspen to a complex set of multi-day Snowmass Aspen festivals; a summer series of weekly performances; diverse year-round music education programs; and the addition of the JAS Café Downstairs @ the Little Nell, featuring outstanding jazz musicians throughout the year.
