element 47

element47

It’s been called Aspen’s “finest spot to wine, dine and unwind.” The name element47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine —for breakfast, lunch, aprés and dinner, 7 days a week.

Our culinary and wine team are one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5 Star, 5 Diamond ranking for so long. A top honor in the Aspen dining scene. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you’ll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You’ll find the ambiance – ceiling height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Cameron Martin, José Lerma – as fine as the dining.

Cache Cache

Cache Cache

Cache Cache opened its doors in October of 1987. Jodi Larner, a partner and general manager since 1989, has established a world class clientele through almost three decades. Larner’s restaurant philosophy is based on consistent, heartfelt authentic food and wine combined with a warm atmosphere and friendly yet impeccable service. The restaurants longevity is the result of the entire team’s commitment to excellence in both the front and back of the house.

Chef Lanter joined the team as executive chef in August of 2000. He partnered with Larner in June of 2004. With two years of apprenticeship in three restaurants in France as his culinary foundation, Lanter reinstated classical French Cuisine as the foundation to this modern American Restaurant. With a focus on local ingredients when available, the cuisine has evolved into unpretentious, clean, and satisfying food. Cache Cache recently invested in Dog Patch Farm located two hours away in fertile Paonia. The locality, quality and freshness of ingredients has become pivotal to the Cache Cache philosophy of cooking.
