Chateau Aspen 16 is a remodeled two bedroom, two bath condominium, located on the third floor, that has been upgraded with a beautiful color palette, materials, and furnishings. It has a full kitchen, a breakfast bar and separate dining area, a gas fireplace, flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, wireless internet, a washer and dryer, and off-street parking. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has twins that can be made into a king upon request. Chateau Aspen is in the center of the downtown core and just one block from the Aspen Mountain gondola, and Aspen’s world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door. The building’s common courtyard has a gas grill and fire pit and offers a nice place to gather outside. \"This is super rental. Fantastic location very close to Aspen Mountain. The hosts are attentive and professional. Examples: we wanted to hook up a streaming video box (Amazon Fire TV) to our TV and could not change the source of the TV because the remote control lacked that feature. They sent somebody over to provide us with a Samsung remote. A small humidifier was not working in our bedroom. They replaced it - On Christmas day! The apartment is fully renovated and has everything you need to be comfortable. I did some light cooking and everything we needed was present. The Wifi is good enough to stream video and more than 30 megabits/second at non-peak times. The only thing that could have been better is that that the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of conversation and ambient noise from other units. This is likely due to the structure being fairly old and not super-high end when it was built. For us this was a minor issue. Nobody staying there was having a party or unruly. But if you really want a super quiet place, this may not fit your needs. Overall, I thought the value was good. The location is fantastic and we were comfortable as a family of four. We would rent there again, especially if skiing is our primary activity. The ski storage area in the unit is pretty tight, right inside the front door, but if you rent from Four Mt Sports, they provide free overnight ski valet and inter-mountain transfer, so you never need to bring your skis to the unit. If you own skis, that might be a small consideration.\"

Great service with special attention and fabulous location

Outstanding location and service There's easy access to all the units in this building, located right in the mix of Aspen. The service provided was above and beyond. We really appreciated the special attention for us last minute visitors. The rooms are comfortable and the condo is well stocked with extras. Loved the entry way with rubber floors so we could dry out equipment indoors overnight. FYI, the terrain park at Snowmass is a new favorite of my teens

The location was great and the condo was super cozy, clean, and inviting. We would definitely stay here again. I was worried it might have been much smaller than it looked in the pictures, but it was actually a good size and had everything we needed.

Great Location for a Ski Vacation!!!

We had a group of 10 guys on our trip so we had to rent two separate units at Chateau aspen. We chose units #11 and #16 and both were almost exactly the same. The condos were not all that luxurious but it was just what we needed and the location makes up for whatever was lacking. Being that it was just a few steps to the supermarket and just about 100 yards away from the Silver Queen Gondola makes Chateau aspen an easy choice for an affordable ski trip to aspen. The price was great and McCartney Property Management Group is absolutely amazing. They catered to my every need. They responded promptly to each and every request and the people I dealt with were some of the nicest people I have ever met. (Bo and Bill) I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect location to stay in aspen. It would be great for families or a group of friends. My group couldn't have been happier and I cannot express how impressed everyone was with our location. Aspen is a small town and you can walk just about anywhere, but if you stay at Chateau aspen your walk will be shorter than most. Next time I visit aspen I will be contacting McCartney Properties again. Great price and great people equals an awesome vacation. Thank you McCartney!

The actual Chateau 16 was average particularly due to the uncomfortable beds and the loud neighbors below. However, once those beds are changed out and the rental below no longer houses the loud and late night party people, you can enjoy an economical vacation in a prime part of downtown aspen! Thank you McCartney Management for solving our problem and moving us just hours after our complaint-now that is good management!

Management is so easy to work with. Pat, Bill and the on call Jack were ready to help. Occasionally mountain travel can be difficult. When our travel plans were altered by the weather and had to stay another night, my after hours call to the rental office was met with a return call from Jack the maintenance man, who quickly made arrangements for another nights stay. They were understanding of my situation and took quick steps to help in any way they could. Jack left his home on a Sunday evening and met me at the unit and essentially moved me in. They took away the worry in a difficult situation. I have rented from them multiple times at various locations in aspen and have had a consistent pattern of a painless pleasurable rental experience.
