This spacious standard rated, two bedroom and two bath condominium is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Roaring Fork River on the east side of Aspen. Surrounded by a canopy of Aspen trees, the private back deck overlooks the flowing river, a perfect retreat after a long day on the mountain. If you choose entertaining instead of solitude, the Weber kettle grill is perfect for back deck grilling. The condo features not only one deck but two. The front deck is a wonderful place to enjoy the colors of the Western sky during sunset and the assent of the gondola up Aspen Mountain. The building also features a great pool and hot tub. The location is ideal. In addition to providing a haven with outdoor living space, the Riverview condo offers convenience. You will find yourself near the Aspen core and 150 yards from a shuttle stop that will quickly carry you into downtown, Rubey Park, and the gondola.
You can access Aspen’s exceptional shopping, dining, and skiing in minutes while staying in a quiet neighborhood on the river. This condominium lacks the bells and whistles but makes up for it with the amenities. The condo features a full kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace with a brick and natural wood surround, flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom, dining room table, wireless internet, a washer and dryer, and a designated off-street parking space. The master bedroom is a room with a view, featuring a queen size bed and windows overlooking the Roaring Fork. Imagine being lulled to sleep every night to the sweet sounds of the river. The second bedroom is very spacious with two twins (king) and two closets.

We enjoyed our stay at the river view condo. It was exactly as pictured and provided exactly what we needed. The check in process was easy and the management company was responsive. It is a more dated condo however everything works as intended and pictures are accurate. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful condo in the heart of Aspen! Loved the river view from our condo, it was so peaceful and quaint. We really enjoyed it!! The kitchen appliances were not the best and could have used a few more utensils, it was lacking, but we made it work. I’m sure most people eat out when they’re in Aspen, however, we preferred to stay in! The beds were cozy and the place was very quiet. Definitely would stay here again!!

The condo is wonderfully located in downtown Aspen. It was very easy to walk to the shops, restaurants and the ski mountain. The condo is a little dated, but extremely clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. The bedding was luxurious and it was great to have a washer/dryer. I also enjoyed listening to the sounds of the river. My husband, two sons and I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool! I also highly recommend staying in a condo over a hotel if you plan to do a lot of outdoor activities as we were able to wash our clothes and make dinner as many of the restaurants in Aspen close early.“What a wonderfully located place in a very cool town in Colorado! Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

The location of this condo allowed us to forgo a rental car. Walking around Aspen each day enhanced the experience. The condo is located by a scenic river and is very close to the John Denver Memorial Park. Heck, it’s close to everything! It was nice to enjoy the hot tub and heated pool each evening. The hosts helped by delivering packages and recommended local attractions. Riverview is for you!!

Location was incredible. Short walk to town or the bus is basically at the back door. The place is great for friends or couples. Quite outdated and old school style, with minimal kitchen utensils and old dishwasher/oven etc. But overall loved the space and would recommend.

We had a lovely weekend in Aspen at this condo. The location is fantastic - very quiet but so close to everything. Back deck with the rushing river was peaceful. Pool and hot tub were perfect for us. Condo was very clean and well stocked and the property managers were awesome. Photos are very representative of the property - while not totally updated, it is very functional and clean and everything is in working order. We would definitely stay here again.

“The location of this condo was great- walking proximity to all downtown Aspen actions and adjacent to hiking trails and public parks (the John Denver sanctuary was a cute and beautiful garden). The tenants in the condo complex were nice and seemed to have the gesture of letting people enjoying the swimming pool and jacuzzi exclusively - yes, each group magically works out to have their own private time without having to share.

We loved the proximity to the walking trails & town. It was quiet & the incredible sound of the river from the master bedroom & living area can't be beat. Condo was very clean & had everything we needed. We were so pleased with the process from start to finish- the condo is ideally located and the sound of the river from the master bedroom was just incredible. We loved the location & proximity to the walking trails & town. What a treat. The internet was not working and maintenance came right away!

Patio views of the roaring fork creek and private heated pool. City bus stop direct to main transit center made it easy to get to the slopes, restaurants, and shopping. House keeping during the stay also a plus.

“There are so many great things to say about this apartment... location, location, location! If you're a fan of the sound a mountain stream makes as it tumbles over a rocky creek bed, then this is the place for you. I pretty much sat outside on the river-side patio (there is also a deck overlooking the pool) for the three days we were there. While the apartment itself could use a facelift (paint, countertops, cabinets, carpet) it was exactly as described and pictured, so I was not at all disappointed in the \"been lived in\" look. The bed linens and towels were luxurious. I especially appreciated the key code/keypad to unlock and lock the front door. Much handier than those key cards that always fail because you let them get too close to your cell phone. Walking downtown is an easy stroll, not too far away, and there is a full-service grocery store within walking distance. Making the reservation, check-in, and check-out were all a breeze and the staff was very helpful with local tips, especially with all the street construction going on in Aspen right now. If you're looking for good value, and a front-row seat to the Roaring Fork, I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Aspen.”

So many wonderful things about this place! Great amount of firewood and fire starter for us to use over the 4 day stay. We had all the pots and pans ever needed to cook Christmas dinner, and the view was spectacular of the mountain. Walking to Ajax mountain was easy as can be with this awesome location. Thanks for giving us a late checkout time with my mom being sick. We truly appreciate your hospitality and the wonderful place you provided

This apartment is perfect for two couples, or a family, wanting to ski in aspen. Quiet, comfortable, walking distance to town and right next to a stop for the free ski bus.Well equipped kitchen, good fireplace, it's not luxurious but it more than meets one's needs.Additionally I really recommend McCartney Property Mgmt. When a heavy snow storm closed aspen airport and we had to stay an extra night - only learning this at 5pm, they instantly sorted us out and went out of their way to ensure we were ok.

Place was great and fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of storage space. The wood fire place cranks out heat.Only 2 of the jets in the hot tub worked, but still helped after a long day on the slopes. Easy walking distance to Main St.

Great place for the price

We stayed here over Christmas and were very pleased with the unit for the price. It was convenient to downtown, spacious, and comfortable. The Property Management company was excellent and very accommodating. They even put up a small Christmas tree for us. I would highly recommend the condo and the Management Company.

Everything about our rental experience here was easy. We loved the condo's riverfront location only a few blocks from restaurants, stores & trails. The condo was a wee bit dated but the sound of the river at night can't be beat. The beds were very comfortable!

Super aspen experience

Not only were we able to experience spring skiing in aspen at a reasonable price, but we didn't have to give up top notch service. Riverview 22 is an easy walk from 2 bus stops. We had a view of the mountain out our front window and woods and creek out our back window.

Upon checking in to the unit we discovered that the description was a little off. Instead of a king size bed in the one bedroom there was a queen and the pull out couch had been replaced by a semicircular sectional. I called about this the following day and a cot was promptly delivered to provide an additional sleeping space.Aside from that the unit was great. It had everything we needed and plenty of space. There was even a washer and dryer in the unit, which was a surprise. The outdoor hot tub was great and access to the pool area was right outside the door, meaning a very short walk through the cold to get to it. Everything in town is within walking distance and there's a bus stop just on the other side of the river across the bridge you can take too.The best experience I had though was on our last day. We had an afternoon flight out of town and we were skiing that day at Snowmass. The airport is halfway between Aspen and Snowmass. We didn't rent a car and we needed a place to store our luggage that day. We were told we could store it at the McCartney office in the airport business center. A taxi picked us up in the morning and when we stopped to drop off the luggage on the way to the mountain I realized I was missing a bag. I was going to take a bus back to town so my friends didn't have to waste any time (it was a powder day) and we didn't have to pay the fare to get back to town again. Without hesitation Charles, the owner, offered to let me use his truck. It probably saved me at least an hour in travel time! I was able to get my bag and get to the mountain to meet my friends. What started off as a disaster turned in to the best day of my trip thanks to that. I can't say enough about how generous that was. Thanks Charles, KK, and the rest of the staff for fulfilling my requests and going beyond the call of duty. I'll definitely be calling again when I come back.
