Description

This excellently located deluxe two bedroom, two bath condominium is on the ground floor with southern exposure and easy access. It is light and bright with hardwood floors, and it has a full kitchen and dining area, TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, wireless internet, a washer and dryer, and off-street parking. There is a brick wood burning fireplace in the condo. It is less than a block to the Silver Queen Gondola.The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has one twin and one full. Chateau Chaumont is in the downtown core and just 100 yards from the Aspen Mountain gondola, and Aspen’s world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door. The building’s common courtyard has a wonderful private community hot tub! Call us, and allow McCartney Property Management’s guest services to open the door to your Aspen experience! Please note: 1 pet is allowed with a non-refundable pet fee.

The condo is nestled at the edge of downtwon Aspen, with easy access to a park, restaurants, galleries and shopping - literally everything Aspen has to offer. It was clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities needed for a perfect stay. The property management company ensured all aspects of the rental were seamless, including excellent communication, ease of check-in and multiple parking options.

Great location, walkable to all restaurants and shopping. Condo was very clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. Provided amenities such as soap for laundry and dishes, paper towels, and floor fans in every room. Charles was responsive to any questions. However, the check in process could be easier.

This property is about two blocks east of ajax. On the map its unclear how close it is but its walking distance to everything in town and the bus stop for shuttles. Has a large bed in the master and single bed and double in the other bedroom. Works great for families with two kids. Property management is very available , even during the holidays.

All the upgrades much appreciated! Super comfy master bed room bed, premium towels, provided room humidifiers, hot showers, nice decor, Bosch appliances and Kirkland (Costco) pots and pans, and more ! Hot tub was right outside our door and we were able to go everyday despite covid because it’s a small complex. Right next to city market and Aspen mountain. Great parking space right out our door. We loved it ! I’m afraid we will never get to go back because we lucked out this place is always booked and I see why !!!!

“The condo is as advertised. Very comfortable for a family stay in the heart of Aspen. Located on the corner facing the interior courtyard, alley and street you don’t have views but that is expected in the Aspen core. There is plenty of light and all of the furnishings make you feel right at home. Even over the President’s holiday weekend the complex was pretty quiet. Great location and value next to the W and Little Nell and just down the street from the gondola.”

Wonderful condo, perfect location - great trip! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautifully updated condo on E Durant Ave just two short blocks to the Silver Queen Gondola (less than 5 min walk). City Market grocery is literally a 2 minute walk. The condo is a first floor unit right next to the hot tub. The condo itself was impeccably clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need - a full kitchen with everything needed to cook full meals (incl all Bosch appliances)although you'll most likely want to go out since there are so many delicious restaurants to walk to right in downtown Aspen! Another great perk of this unit is a washer and dryer right in the unit! We had a wonderful trip and a great experience at Chateau Chamount 1 and hope to return soon!

Comfy beds, heated bathroom floors, hot tub and location!!!

This property has been recently updated and was perfect for our family of 4. The owners thought of everything, down to heated floors in both bathrooms (I had no idea that I needed those!). The beds are comfy (having 2 beds in the second bedroom was great). The kitchen is well provisioned. Since this is a first-floor unit they included great privacy blinds that open from the top down to let natural light in. Bedrooms also have near-blackout blinds (in case your group includes some nappers). The community hot tub was just outside the front door and was a nice place to socialize at the end of the day. The property management company did a great job of keeping sidewalks and steps clear. Above all the location of this condo can't be beat! You're 2 blocks from the base of the gondola...close enough that I let my 10 year old walk it by herself! The City Market (small but has everything you need) grocery store is a block away. Finally, the liquor/wine/beer store is 1/2 block away. I could easily run out and be back with almost anything we'd need in 10 minutes.

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Great location to Ajax gondola and all the apres ski action. A three block walk to the buses for all the other glorious slopes. Added bonus for my kids was that Dominos Pizza is right down the street! If you want to make dinner at home then the kitchen was very well appointed with all the gadgets you will need! But why do that with all those phenomenal restaurants a short walk away! And after a hard day of skiing, very comfy cozy beds. We will totally stay here again. When I picked up the keys, the people at the management office were really nice too!

Great aspen condo! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time at this property over the Christmas holiday. It could not have been more perfect! The location is ideal. The condo is beautifully renovated, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook in - even a crock pot for slow cooked dinners that are ready when you finish skiing! The 2 bathrooms (with heated floors) are perfect. Beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is right out the front door. Parking spot in the garage was amazing to make for frost free mornings! Don’t hesitate to rent this unit!

“Excellent stay. Love the location. Where else can you walk home for lunch and an hour of Game of Thrones then return for afternoon of wonderful skiing!!! Also local market a block away is open till 11pm! Love the fact it is on the ground floor of quaint complex and just steps from the hot tube. Interior is comfortable and efficient with plenty of extra firewood in interior garage just one flight downstairs. Fold out-couch with linens in front of big-screen TV and fireplace make a great additional bedroom. Great maintenance/management that daily removed snow and garbage. Had fun meeting residents and visitors at the hot-tube. Five star stay for sure.”

We loved it! We were able to relax and feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door for our 2-week stay. It was spacious enough to host a group of 10+ friends for dinner. The bathrooms were wonderful, with heated floors!The only drawback was it's a little noisier than other condo complexes in the area, perhaps because it's on the first floor. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!

very comfortable condo; excellent location to everything, nice hot tub access, updated unit with comfortable beds. Could use a mirror in master bedroom; tv in master only received one channel. Having to go to inconvenient rental location for key pick up was only negative. There has be to a more accomodating method.
