Axes & Arms: A Tribute Walk with First Responders - Snowmass Village

Join local first responders for a moving tribute walk at Snowmass Village, a 956ft climb from Town Park Station to the Top of the Village. This distance represents the brave walk that New York first responders took inside the first tower of The World Trade Center.

The Axes & Arms event is a community gathering that not only pays homage to those who showed extraordinary courage during one of the darkest moments in history but also offers a chance for unity and reflection. Following the climb, participants can return to Town Park to enjoy food, drinks, yard games, and more, provided by Roaring Fork Fire Authority.

This special event is free and open to the public, with donations to the Axes and Arms Foundation warmly accepted and appreciated. Whether you're walking to remember, to pay tribute, or to share in a community moment, the Axes & Arms walk offers a unique and meaningful experience.

Axes & Arms takes place at Town Park Station, with free public transportation options provided by Snowmass Village Shuttle and RFTA, or free parking at Town Park Station and Brush Creek Intercept Lot for those driving.
