Aspen is famous for its parties, and New Years Eve is one of the biggest!
Spending New Year's Eve in Aspen is an experience filled with a variety of activities and events. Although the full details for 2024 are not yet available, visitors can expect a selection of dining and party options based on previous years.
Typically, you can enjoy a high-end dinner at places like Element 47 or Ajax Tavern, where menus have featured everything from seafood to wagyu beef, and reservations are timed to coincide with the fireworks display over Aspen Mountain. Hotel Jerome and Plato's have also offered special New Year's Eve dinners.
As for entertainment, Aspen usually hosts fireworks at 8 pm over the mountain, and there are often daytime activities like a gathering at the Sister Cities plaza with hot chocolate and a DJ, as well as public skating at the Aspen Ice Garden.
