Chateau Chaumont Covenant/Rule Violation Complaint Reporting Form and Protocol

The goal of the Board of Directors is to keep our building’s common element areas and individual private condominiums in harmony for the best quality of life for all, including residents, owners and guests. Please let us know if a neighbor, guest, or owner is out of compliance. Please follow the Reporting Protocol and submit a Violation Report Form. Documentation of the incident will allow us to promptly begin working to address the concern. If this is a life-threatening emergency dial 911.

Describe the Situation Below

  • • If this is a parking violation, please provide the license plate, model and make of car, and rental management company name and number if there is a parking pass inside the vehicle.
  • • If this is a trespassing violation, please feel free to call the Aspen Police at 970-920-5400.

Violation Reporting Protocol

DURING REGULAR HOURS
1) Call McCartney Property Management at 970-925-8717 and report the issue.

2) Fill out a Chateau Chaumont Violation Form available at McCartney Property Management’s website at https://www.mccartneyproperties.com/aspen-property-management/owners-area/.  Even though you have called in your concern, it is important that we have the details in writing for documentation and to address the issue as efficiently and quickly as possible. As per the Association’s Covenant Enforcement Policy, a written complaint is required.

McCartney Property Management will take your information and follow up in this order:

  • Personally address the violation with the owner or guest at the Chateau Chaumont.
  • Contact the owner via email and/or phone contact information on file about the violation.
  • Contact the rental management company via email and/or phone about the violation and our rules.

DURING AFTERHOURS
1) If the violation constitutes an emergency threat, call McCartney Property Management at 970-925-8717 and select the option for afterhours/emergency to report the issue and leave a message. If not an emergency, proceed step 2.

2) Fill out a Chateau Chaumont Violation Form available at McCartney Property Management’s website at https://www.mccartneyproperties.com/aspen-property-management/owners-area/.  Even though you have called in your concern, it is important that we have the details in writing for documentation and to address the issue as efficiently and quickly as possible. As per the Association’s Covenant Enforcement Policy, a written complaint is required. Afterhours and weekend violations may take longer to address due to limited staffing, but McCartney will immediately receive and respond to the phone message if left on their emergency voicemail.

McCartney Property Management will take your information and follow up in this order:

  • Personally address the violation with the owner or guest at the Chateau Chaumont.
  • Contact the owner via email and/or phone contact information on file about the violation.
  • Contact the rental management company via email and/or phone about the violation and our rules.

3) Reference your Chateau Chaumont Owner List and help communicate the issue. We are here to help each other and resolve problems in our community as quickly as possible.

Call, text, or email the owner about the violation so they may immediately remedy the issue.
